Emergency First Response

The Emergency First Response course is designed for divers and non divers and covers most normal first aid emergencies that occur. It is also a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course.

DETAILS

Upon signing up you will receive your EFR manual. During the course you will study the knowledge reviews and complete the 8 practical training exercises. These exercises are divided into 2 sections.

The first is Primary Care including: rescue breathing, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR), serious bleeding management and shock management.

The second section is Secondary Care and includes:- injury assessment, illness assessment, bandaging and splinting.
COMPLETION You will receive your EFR certification card. This card is valid for 2 years before the skills need to be practised again. An EFR refresher is available at reduced prices.
REQUIREMENTS Read and complete your EFR manual and knowledge reviews.
